REDESIGN OF 27 ROOMS IN THE OBSTGARTL 1 BUILDING

After the completion of our Bliss House in spring 2024, we’re excited to share another development. All rooms in the Obstgartl 1 building—located above the kids’ club—will undergo a complete redesign.

What You Can Look Forward To

This project will bring 27 newly designed rooms: 21 double rooms in two different sizes and 6 family rooms thoughtfully laid out with two bedrooms. The total number of rooms in Obstgartl 1, originally built in 1981, will remain the same.

All rooms will feature high-quality materials, and the large windows offer wonderful views of the mountains to the east and west.

The structure of the building will remain unchanged, preserving its character with beautifully crafted gables and wooden beams inspired by the main house, as well as spacious balconies on both east and west sides. The facade will combine light plaster with rough-cut spruce wood. The large windows will be framed in larch wood, complemented by natural stone cladding on the facade.

The building is being constructed to passive house standards, with all rooms and suites featuring comfort ventilation and air conditioning.

Renovation Details

We’ll start clearing out on January 7. Between January 14 and mid-February, the roof and the first and second floors will be removed. From January to April, the kids’ club will temporarily relocate to the new spaces in Bliss House. Construction work will begin around 8:00 a.m. and end by 7:00 p.m. at the latest.

The shell construction is expected to be completed by April 2025.

All Alpenresort facilities, pools, and the sauna village will remain fully accessible during the construction period from January to June. Some construction noise may be audible from the outdoor pools.

The new rooms will be ready for you starting Friday, July 11, 2025.

With the opening of Bliss House in summer 2024, we’ve fulfilled our long-standing dream of providing a dedicated space for sports and movement.

The Fitness Club is located on the first floor of Bliss House (between the hotel entrance and the Greenvieh Restaurant) and spans 300 m². The view of the meadows, mountains, and golf course is picture-perfect. There are expanded training options with new equipment and features, along with new workouts led by our trainer team.

The construction of Bliss House also provided an opportunity to redesign additional areas. From the new hotel reception, you’ll enjoy a wonderful view of the garden. Everything is bright and spacious, making arrival a special experience.

For those who love outdoor adventures, there is not only a new meeting point for hiking and biking tours at the concierge desk, but also an ideal selection of top mountain bikes, e-mountain bikes, fullys, and children’s bikes in our new sports center. The experience is completed with a new climbing wall on the exterior facade, as well as a chess and bocce area on the rooftop terrace.
